Job description

Remote | Part-Time | 20–30 Hours per WeekPosition Overview

We are seeking a hands-on Digital Marketing & Enrollment Specialist to help grow awareness, generate qualified leads, and increase enrollment in professional training programs.

This is an ideal opportunity for a well-rounded marketer who enjoys both developing ideas and executing them. The successful candidate will work across digital advertising, social media, email marketing, content, website promotion, lead generation, and campaign analytics.

The primary objective of this position is straightforward: develop and execute marketing strategies that attract prospective customers and convert interest into training program registrations.

This is not a sales position. However, the successful candidate must understand that effective marketing should produce measurable business results.

The position may be structured as a part-time employee, independent contractor, or contract-to-hire engagement, depending on the experience and preferences of the selected candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute marketing campaigns designed to increase awareness, leads, and enrollment for professional training programs
  • Manage and grow the organization's presence across relevant social media platforms
  • Plan, create, schedule, and optimize engaging social media and digital content
  • Develop and manage paid digital advertising campaigns, including Google Ads and paid social media
  • Create targeted campaigns for specific training programs, audiences, industries, and geographic markets
  • Support email marketing campaigns designed to promote upcoming programs and drive registrations
  • Identify opportunities to improve website traffic, landing-page performance, and online enrollment conversions
  • Develop marketing calendars around upcoming programs, enrollment periods, events, and promotional initiatives
  • Assist with marketing and promotional activities related to industry events, conferences, and trade shows
  • Conduct market and audience research to identify new customer segments and growth opportunities
  • Track campaign performance, leads, inquiries, registrations, conversion rates, and other relevant marketing KPIs
  • Use analytics to determine which campaigns and channels are producing results and adjust strategies accordingly
  • Provide regular reporting and recommendations based on campaign performance
  • Collaborate with leadership to establish measurable marketing and enrollment objectives
  • Help strengthen brand awareness and expand reach into new markets
Qualifications
  • 2-4 years of hands-on digital marketing, advertising, enrollment marketing, or related experience
  • Associate's degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, Business, or a related field preferred; equivalent professional experience will also be considered
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing digital marketing campaigns
  • Experience with social media marketing and content development
  • Working knowledge of Google Ads and digital advertising platforms
  • Experience with email marketing and lead-generation campaigns
  • Understanding of website traffic, conversion strategies, and digital analytics
  • Ability to interpret campaign data and make informed recommendations
  • Strong written communication and content-development skills
  • Highly organized and capable of managing multiple campaigns and deadlines
  • Self-directed and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
  • Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Experience

Experience marketing any of the following is highly desirable:

  • Professional training or certification programs
  • Continuing education
  • Colleges, universities, or trade schools
  • Workforce development programs
  • Professional associations
  • Conferences, events, or educational programs
  • B2B services
  • Skilled trades, technical services, or workforce-focused organizations

Candidates do not need previous experience within the organization's specific industry. We are more interested in candidates who understand how to identify an audience, build an effective campaign, generate qualified interest, and convert that interest into registrations or customers.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this position will be measured through clearly established marketing objectives, which may include:

  • Growth in qualified leads and inquiries
  • Increased training program registrations
  • Improved digital campaign performance
  • Increased website traffic and conversion rates
  • Growth in relevant audience engagement
  • Effective customer acquisition campaigns
  • Successful expansion into targeted markets
  • Consistent tracking, reporting, testing, and optimization of marketing activities
Schedule & Work Arrangement
  • 20–30 hours per week
  • Remote
  • Flexible part-time schedule
  • No routine travel required
  • Potential structures include:
  • Part-time employee
  • Independent contractor
  • Initial contract with opportunity for long-term employment
Compensation

Competitive hourly compensation based on experience and engagement structure.

A performance incentive may also be available based on mutually established marketing and enrollment objectives.

Anticipated employee compensation: approximately $28-$35 per hour, depending on experience.

Contractor compensation will be determined separately based on experience, scope of responsibility, and engagement structure.

How to Apply

Please submit a resume along with examples of relevant marketing work or campaigns.

Candidates should be prepared to discuss specific marketing campaigns they have personally developed or managed, including the objectives, marketing channels used, and measurable results achieved.
