Job Summary
A direct hire opportunity is available for an experienced Proposal Lead - Construction in Phoenix, AZ. This role is ideal for a senior proposal professional with a strong background in construction, architecture, engineering, industrial facilities, infrastructure, RFQ responses, RFP responses, and design-build pursuits.
The Proposal Lead - Construction will support high-impact pursuit efforts by developing client-specific proposal content, coordinating with technical leaders, and ensuring proposal packages are accurate, polished, compliant, and aligned with brand standards. This is a strong opportunity to join a collaborative, team-oriented environment with supportive leadership, meaningful project work, and long-term career growth potential.
The right candidate will enjoy working with operations, marketing, proposal managers, and regional leadership to shape winning pursuit strategies. Success in this role requires excellent writing, organization, communication, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced construction environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead assigned RFQ and RFP responses, including complex design-build pursuits, ensuring themes, scope, qualifications, and project experience are accurate and compelling.
- Write, edit, organize, verify, and format proposal content to create high-quality, client-specific response packages.
- Coordinate with senior technical staff, project development teams, proposal managers, and regional leadership to keep pursuit efforts on schedule.
- Lead proposal kickoff meetings, capture planning discussions, and communication with local and remote partners.
- Support presentation and interview preparation for prospective clients.
- Maintain proposal, project, and marketing information in company databases and help capture project data, progress updates, onsite events, and photography.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $90,000 to $100,000 per year.
