Key Responsibilities

• Manage a caseload of clients, establishing rapport and cultivating therapeutic alliances while adhering to professional ethical standards and maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Conduct regular check-ins and therapy sessions with clients to assess progress, discuss treatment objectives, and plan for appropriate discharge when necessary.
• Create, implement, and evaluate individualized, person-centered treatment plans based on client needs and evidence-based practices.
• Maintain meticulous documentation and progress notes in accordance with regulatory standards and organizational best practices.
• Utilize various software systems—including RMS systems, Microsoft Excel, and Outlook—to manage client data effectively and streamline administrative tasks.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The LPC will primarily work with a diverse outpatient population at Fortitude Psychotherapy Center. Clients include children, adolescents, and adults from various backgrounds, each facing unique challenges requiring tailored therapeutic approaches. The focus will be on empowering clients to enhance their mental health, resilience, and overall well-being through a variety of therapeutic modalities.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in mental health counseling or a related field is required.
• Must hold an unrestricted and actively licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) designation.
• A minimum of one year of post-graduate experience in a clinical outpatient setting is required.
• Proficiency with computer systems, including spreadsheet management and electronic health record (EHR) software.

Preferred Experience

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families is preferred.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and client-centered therapeutic modalities will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

Fortitude Psychotherapy Center offers a competitive annual salary in the range of USD 75,000 to 90,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Additional compensation incentives, including performance-based bonuses, may be available. Full-time employees benefit from W2 employment status, with an emphasis on maintaining a healthy work-life balance.
