Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients' mental health conditions, ensuring a solid understanding of their needs.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique goals and circumstances, using evidence-based practices to guide therapy.
• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, engaging clients through interactive and supportive techniques.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and case managers to ensure comprehensive care and referrals when necessary.
• Provide education and support to clients' families, promoting understanding and involvement in the treatment process.
• Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress updates in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ethical standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our therapists primarily work with individuals facing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Additionally, you will have the opportunity to provide support to vulnerable populations, such as the homeless, refugees, and victims of domestic abuse. Your work will significantly contribute to fostering resilience and empowerment among these individuals, making a notable impact on their mental health journeys.

Qualifications

• Must hold an active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• Possess a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• A deep sense of empathy and a non-judgmental attitude toward clients’ experiences are essential.
