Step to Freedom Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) to join our team on a full-time basis. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct individualized assessments to develop tailored therapy plans based on client needs and goals.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, employing methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy.
  • Facilitate group counseling sessions and offer family and couples therapy as required.
  • Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation in compliance with legal and ethical guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to coordinate comprehensive treatment for clients.
  • Participate in professional development activities, including workshops and training sessions to enhance your skills and stay current with the latest in mental health research.

You will work with a diverse client population in Austin, Texas, many of whom are experiencing barriers to accessing mental health services. Qualifications
