Work Environment

This role is fully remote, allowing you to conduct therapy sessions from wherever you feel most productive. We provide a robust online platform equipped with tools for video conferencing, client management, and documentation, significantly minimizing the administrative burden often associated with therapy practice. As part of a fully remote team, you’ll collaborate with fellow therapists and have access to ongoing support from our onboarding specialists who can help you get set up in as little as 1-3 days.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual therapy sessions using secure video chat technology, ensuring a safe and confidential environment for your clients.
• Employ solution-focused modalities to develop and implement tailored treatment plans, addressing each client's unique needs and circumstances.
• Assist clients in gaining insights into their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors, enabling them to work through challenges and foster personal growth.
• Regularly assess client progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary and helping clients develop healthy coping mechanisms.
• Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and share best practices with peers.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with stable, low-acuity adults who present with a variety of mental health concerns. Our client base values collaborative treatment approaches, making it essential for you to foster strong therapeutic relationships. Your role will directly influence their quality of life by empowering them to navigate challenges and develop strategies for healthier living.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as one of the following: Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW).
• No limited or provisional licenses and no history of disciplinary actions.
• Demonstrated ability to create a supportive and empathic environment for clients.
• Strong technological skills, including familiarity with teletherapy platforms and electronic health records.

Preferred Experience

• At least two years of professional experience providing mental health counseling services.
• Experience with various treatment modalities and a willingness to adapt approaches based on client needs.
• Previous work in a remote setting is preferred but not mandatory.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to USD 104,000 annually, based on hours worked and experience.
