Key Responsibilities

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will:

• Conduct one-on-one counseling sessions via video chat, ensuring a safe space for clients to express their thoughts and feelings.
• Implement evidence-based, solution-focused treatment approaches tailored to individual client needs.
• Create comprehensive treatment plans that encompass insights into clients’ experiences, feelings, and interpersonal relationships.
• Monitor and evaluate clients' progress toward achieving their therapeutic goals throughout the treatment process.
• Facilitate the development of healthy coping mechanisms and life skills, essential for enhancing clients’ quality of life.
• Collaborate with a team of professionals to exchange insights and strategies, fostering a holistic approach to mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with stable, low-acuity adults grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. Our clients are seeking guidance, support, and strategies designed to improve their everyday lives. By empowering them to gain insights and develop skills, you will play an instrumental role in enhancing their overall well-being.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A full, unrestricted license to practice independently as one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• No provisional licenses or disciplinary actions against you.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor towards clients.
• Strong proficiency with technology and digital platforms for therapy.

Preferred Experience

A minimum of two years of experience in providing mental health counseling is required. Experience with remote therapy sessions and familiarity with solution-focused or cognitive-behavioral therapeutic methods is highly valued.
