Guiding Light Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) to join our team in Phoenix, Arizona. As a member of our clinical team, the LISW will collaborate with other healthcare professionals to deliver integrated care. • Provide direct clinical services to individuals experiencing major mental illness and severe emotional disorders, both virtually and within the community.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop integrated care plans that address the unique needs of each client.
• Create and implement evidence-based intervention strategies aimed at client empowerment and improved health outcomes.
• Maintain a caseload that includes ongoing assessment, individual and group therapy, facilitating family interventions, and crisis management as required.
• Participate actively as a team member in interdisciplinary case conferences and meetings to foster a seamless approach to client care.
• Document client progress meticulously, ensuring timely completion of reports and submission of required data for service analysis and improvement.
• Engage with community resources to enhance service availability and connect clients with necessary external supports.
• Assist with crisis intervention, providing immediate care during emergencies, and ensure the safety of clients and staff.
• Participate in ongoing professional development initiatives and quality improvement committees to continuously elevate our service delivery standards.

This position serves a diverse client population, primarily focusing on individuals in economically disadvantaged neighborhoods who are experiencing significant mental health challenges. Our clients may include those with histories of trauma, substance abuse, and chronic mental health issues. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering trust and rapport with individuals from various cultural backgrounds, adapting treatment approaches to meet their specific needs and circumstances.

• Must possess an active Licensed Independent Social Worker (LISW) certification.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
• Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and crisis management pertinent to assigned populations.
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with an ability to convey complex information effectively.
• Strong organizational and planning abilities to manage a diverse caseload efficiently.
• Commitment to uphold ethical standards in social work practice, aligning with Guiding Light Therapy's mission and values.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical social work role, preferably within a community health or similar setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems to streamline documentation and improve service delivery.
• Experience conducting group therapy sessions and community outreach initiatives.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices in mental health treatment and intervention.

The position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from USD 70,000 to 85,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
