Your role as A LISW/LPCC
As a part time LISW/LSW at Hocking Valley Community Hospital, you can expect to be involved in assessing, providing counseling, and managing patients, collaborating closely with a talented team of healthcare professionals.

  • Must have a current/active and in good standing license in Ohio for LISW or may be a LPCC.
  • Must be licensed or certified to provide individual counseling.
  • Master's Degree in Social Work preferred.
  • At least two years of social work experience in a health care setting and one to three years related experience with mental health or counseling preferred.
  • Ability to counsel both adults and children.
  • Physical, sensory, and cognitive abilities sufficient to perform essential functions. Good interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be caring, compassionate and have a strong desire to provide aid and make an impact.
