• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health to inform the development of tailored treatment plans that address their specific needs.
• Provide individualized therapy sessions employing evidence-based modalities, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) or Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), designed to yield effective outcomes.
• Engage in collaborative goal-setting with clients, ensuring that they have a clear understanding of their treatment journey and are actively involved in monitoring their progress.
• Offer teletherapy options to accommodate clients preferring virtual sessions or those with geographical or mobility constraints.
• Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of therapy sessions, ensuring compliance with ethical standards and regulations within the mental health profession.
• Participate in professional development initiatives, including workshops, seminars, and training, to continually enhance your clinical skills and adapt to new treatment methodologies.

You will work with a diverse client population, including individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, and various other mental health concerns. By employing a client-centered approach, you will help clients discover their potential and navigate the complexities of their lives while fostering a safe and trusting environment.

• A current and valid license in New York state as an LMFT, LCSW, LMHC, or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A master's degree or doctoral degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Demonstrated proficiency in therapeutic techniques and a deep understanding of mental health challenges and solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills necessary for building rapport and trust with clients.
• A compassionate and empathetic demeanor paired with a non-judgmental attitude that reassures clients of their experiences.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle a diverse caseload and maintain administrative obligations.

• Previous experience in an outpatient setting, particularly in private practice, is highly advantageous.
• Familiarity with telehealth technology and virtual therapy platforms.
• Specialization or training in specific therapeutic modalities or treatment approaches.
• Experience working with diverse populations and understanding cultural competencies.
