What is a remote life insurance?

A Remote Life Insurance job involves selling and managing life insurance policies from a remote location, usually from home. Agents typically work for insurance companies or as independent brokers, helping clients understand different policy options and guiding them through the application process. This role often includes making calls, setting up virtual meetings, and handling paperwork online. Strong communication skills, knowledge of insurance products, and a valid license (depending on state requirements) are essential.

What does a remote life insurance do?

A typical day for a remote life insurance professional involves reaching out to potential clients, conducting phone or video consultations, assessing client needs, and recommending suitable insurance policies. You’ll frequently use digital platforms to manage leads, complete applications, and handle electronic documentation. Collaboration with underwriters and team members often occurs virtually, while ongoing training or meetings keep you updated on industry changes. This structure allows for flexibility, but it also requires self-discipline and proactive communication to meet goals and serve clients effectively.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in remote life insurance?

To succeed in a Remote Life Insurance role, you need a solid understanding of insurance products, sales principles, and applicable state licensing, often evidenced by a valid life insurance license. Job description

About Agency Diaz:

We’re building more than sales professionals. We're building leaders, entrepreneurs, and legacies. We believe success belongs to those who hate losing more than they love being comfortable, who don’t back down from a challenge, and who refuse to settle for average.

Whether you're looking for a fresh start or something greater, here you'll find mentorship, proven systems, and a team committed to helping you reach your potential. This is more than a job or a career move. It's an opportunity to create lasting impact for your family, serve others through meaningful work, and build a legacy that extends far beyond yourself.

Unsure of joining the insurance industry? Our agents have transitioned from careers in teaching, nursing, social work, real estate, and countless others to build a career aligned with our shared purpose, values, and financial wellbeing.

No prior experience in sales or insurance is required.

Core Responsibilities:

  • Consult with potential and current clients to secure life insurance coverage based on their needs
  • Virtually meet with individuals who have requested life insurance information (no cold calling) via our proven lead system
  • Manage sales administrative tasks such as documentation, policy processing, and maintaining accurate client records
  • Attend team calls, mentorship sessions, and training (virtual or in-person)

What you’ll bring:

  • Willingness to obtain a life insurance license (with our help)
  • A strong, coachable work ethic
  • High character and integrity
  • A familiarity with CRM platforms is helpful
  • An ability to build and nurture internal and external relationships
  • Must be 18+ and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

What you’ll get:

  • The ability to work when and where you choose
  • Guided mentorship throughout your development
  • Game-changing technology and support
  • The industry’s only value-based leads program
  • World class culture and leadership development

Pay:

  • 1099 contractor; commissions only
  • Full-Time Uncapped Potential: estimated $75,000–$160,000+ / first year (35–45 hrs/week or 15-20 policies/month)
