Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed assessments and screenings to identify the mental health needs of patients and tailor individualized treatment plans accordingly.
• Provide short-term counseling and crisis intervention to address immediate patient concerns, employing evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques.
• Facilitate remote therapy groups and workshops focused on relevant topics such as stress management, coping strategies, and personal development.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including healthcare providers and support staff, to develop comprehensive care strategies for patients.
• Participate in outreach initiatives, including mental health awareness campaigns and wellness events, to enhance community mental health education.
• Maintain precise and confidential patient records in adherence to ethical standards and legal obligations, ensuring compliance with health regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse cohort of patients, including individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. You will work with clients experiencing a broad range of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma-related disorders, and other psychological challenges. A deep understanding of the unique needs of these patients will be critical in providing empathetic and effective care.

Qualifications

• Possession of an active state license, such as Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Bachelor’s degree is required; a Master's or doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is preferred.
• Strong understanding of contemporary mental health issues prevalent in outpatient settings, with a focus on evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to effectively engage with patients, enabling a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Demonstrated capacity to effectively manage a diverse caseload while maintaining a high standard of patient care.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years post-licensure experience in a clinical setting, preferably working with outpatient populations.
• Experience with telehealth platforms and the ability to navigate virtual counseling sessions seamlessly.
• Familiarity with brief therapy models and an aptitude for employing various therapeutic techniques tailored to patient needs.
