These attorneys handle cases, consultations, and communications virtually, making it easier for clients to get legal help without traveling. They assist clients through the entire lemon law process, from filing claims to negotiating settlements or representing clients in court, all through digital means.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote lemon law attorney?

To thrive as a Remote Lemon Law Attorney, you need a solid understanding of consumer protection laws, particularly lemon law statutes, supported by a law degree and a valid license to practice. Familiarity with legal research tools, case management software, and secure communication platforms is typically required. Job description

Looking for a role where you can build on your litigation experience, develop within a sophisticated healthcare practice, and work 100% remotely? This opportunity is designed for an attorney with 1–4 years of litigation experience who is ready to take the next step. Southern California candidates are preferred, but remote candidates anywhere within the same time zone may be considered.

Why This Opportunity

  • Step into sophisticated healthcare-related litigation while continuing to develop as an attorney
  • Build on transferable litigation skills without needing to arrive as a healthcare-law expert
  • Work in a fully remote environment suited to attorneys who are independent yet collaborative and responsive
  • Earn $125,000–$180,000+ DOE, plus substantial billable-hour bonuses
  • Benefit from performance-based increases and a path toward inheriting client relationships
  • Receive medical, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage, retirement/profit-sharing, PTO, sick days, and federal holidays

What You'll Do

  • Handle contract disputes, provider litigation, and overpayment recovery
  • Conduct detailed claims analysis across large datasets
  • Perform legal research and draft motions to compel and dismiss
  • Handle extensive discovery
  • Manage a large docket of 200+ active cases with a high level of responsiveness
  • Assist with arbitration preparation and behind-the-scenes legal work

What They're Looking For

  • Strong professional judgment, work ethic, and dependability are the top priorities, along with solid legal writing skills and the ability to bill time
  • Defense-side litigation experience, including insurance defense or medical malpractice, is preferred; plaintiff-side, workers' compensation, and lemon law backgrounds are not the target profile
  • Comfort working independently, getting granular with research and case analysis, and learning healthcare-specific subject matter

Compensation & Bonus

  • $125,000–$180,000+ base salary DOE
  • $10,000 bonus at 2,000 billable hours, plus an additional $10,000 for every 100 hours thereafter
  • 1,800 annual billable-hour requirement
  • Performance-based increases and a path toward inheriting client relationships

Work Arrangement

  • 100% remote, with candidates required to remain in the same time zone
  • Team is open to 2–3 annual team lunches and a holiday party

Requirements

  • 1–4 years of litigation experience
  • California Bar admission in good standing
  • Strong legal writing, judgment, and work ethic
  • Ability to bill time
  • Defense-side experience preferred
