Job description

Job Type: Full-Time Temporary / Contract
Estimated Duration: 2-3 Months (40 hours/week)
Position Overview
PrideStaff is seeking an experienced, high-urgency Full-Cycle Technical Recruiter for a 2-3 month contract assignment supporting a premier global manufacturer in the nuclear power and heavy industrial engineering sector. In this role, you will lead end-to-end recruitment across a variety of technical, engineering, manufacturing, and operational positions supporting highly engineered products and services.
The ideal candidate is a plug-and-play recruiter who requires zero onboarding time, possesses deep expertise sourcing engineering and technical talent, and thrives in high-compliance, highly regulated industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Full Cycle Recruiting: Manage the entire hiring lifecycle for active technical openings including Mechanical/Electrical Engineers, Quality Inspectors, CNC Machinists, Valve Technicians, and Operations personnel.
  • Proactive Sourcing & Talent Pipeline: Leverage advanced sourcing strategies (LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, specialized job boards, and industry networks) to engage passive technical talent for hard-to-fill roles.
  • Candidate Screening & Assessment: Conduct thorough initial behavioral and technical pre-screens to evaluate candidate fit, compensation expectations, technical qualifications, and compliance readiness.
  • Hiring Manager Collaboration: Partner closely with internal leadership, HR, and engineering managers to align on job requirements, streamline interview panels, and drive timely feedback loops.
  • Process Execution & ATS Management: Track all candidate movement and maintain accurate data integrity within the company's Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Offer Management: Facilitate interview scheduling, assist with offer preparation, navigate candidate negotiations, and drive successful closing strategies.
Key Qualifications
  • Experience: 5+ years of full-cycle technical recruiting experience, with a heavy emphasis on engineering, manufacturing, defense, aerospace, nuclear, or power generation sectors.
  • Technical Sourcing Capabilities: Proven track record of sourcing specialized engineering roles (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Quality, Systems) and skilled industrial technicians.
  • System Proficiency: Expert-level capability with LinkedIn Recruiter and Applicant Tracking Systems (Workday experience is a strong plus).
  • Industry Compliance Familiarity: Understanding of background screening and regulatory compliance environments typical of heavy manufacturing and power industries.
  • Self-Starter Mindset: Ability to ramp up within 48 hours and manage a full requisition load independently with minimal direction.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with strong candidate negotiation abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Prior experience recruiting within valve manufacturing, flow control equipment, or heavy machinery.
  • Experience working within lean manufacturing or continuous improvement frameworks.
