JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS

The Pennsylvania State University at Harrisburg, School of Business Administration, periodically has part-time openings for instructors to teach undergraduate Marketing courses across the curriculum.

These openings are one semester in duration and non-tenure-track, with the possibility of reappointment.

Job Duties
  • Part-time instructors typically teach one to three undergraduate courses per semester on campus related to Marketing.

  • Successful candidates must be able to work effectively with diverse populations and audiences.

  • Part-time lecturers prepare course lessons, evaluate students, hold regular office hours, and are expected to become proficient with Canvas, the University's learning management system.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Earned Master'a degree in Marketing, Master's in Business Administration, or a master's in a closely related business field.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Business experience in marketing and retailing.
  • College-level teaching experience is strongly preferred
Required Application Materials:
  • Candidates should upload a Curriculum Vitae (CV)/resume and a letter of application indicating area(s) of interest.
  • In addition, candidates should be prepared to provide the names, titles, and contact information (telephone, email, and mailing address) of three (3) professional references, if requested.
