The School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) invites applications for a Semester Lecturer position to teach ENR 3530. The successful candidate will be responsible for the instruction and delivery of course content, including preparation of course materials, classroom teaching, assessment of student learning, and submission of final grades in accordance with university policies.
In addition to classroom instruction, part-time lecturers are expected to maintain office hours commensurate with course expectations. Office hours must be clearly communicated to students through the course syllabus and be available to support student learning and academic success.
Semester appointment responsibilities begin on the first day of classes and continue through the university-established deadline for grade submission.
Responsibilities
  • Teach ENR 3530 in accordance with university and School of Environment and Natural Resources standards.
  • Develop and maintain course materials, assignments, and assessments.
  • Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
  • Hold and communicate regular office hours for student support.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit grades by university deadlines.
  • Adhere to university policies and procedures regarding instruction and student engagement.

Minimum Required Qualifications
  • Master's degree in Environmental Sciences or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated expertise relevant to the subject matter of ENR 3530.
  • Strong communication and instructional skills.
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive and engaging learning environment.
