Location: Remote โ€“ Work must be performed within the 50 United States (CONUS 50)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift Schedule: Standard business hours (Mondayโ€“Friday)

Overview:
Stafford Consulting is seeking a Senior Acquisition Specialist to support federal leasing and space acquisition efforts. This role involves managing procurement requisitions related to commercial leases, coordinating with federal stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with GSA leasing policies, Novation Agreements, and federal financial regulations. Travel may be required to complete the security clearance process.

Education:

  • Bachelorโ€™s degree or higher in Business, Real Estate, Finance, or a related field from an accredited institution

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in federal leasing, space acquisition, or related procurement functions

  • Prior experience with GSA leasing processes, market analysis, and lease documentation preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and manage Procurement Request (PR) packages for leasing and space acquisition activities

  • Collaborate with Program Managers, Contracting Officers, and property stakeholders to validate documentation including:

    • Lease solicitations and award packages

    • Statements of Work (SOW)

    • Justifications and Determinations & Findings

    • Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE)

    • Market surveys and occupancy analyses

  • Maintain accurate electronic records in agency financial and procurement systems

  • Monitor open commitments and ensure obligations comply with fiscal law and federal policy

  • Provide guidance on PR processing, IPAC/invoice handling, and obligation tracking

  • Reconcile prior-year budgets and maximize fund utilization for leasing initiatives

  • Compile and analyze financial data for internal and external reporting

  • Resolve discrepancies between systems and execute corrective actions

  • Ensure lease payments and drawdowns align with award terms and agency expectations

  • Update agency data-sharing systems with accurate leasing and requisition data

  • Communicate clearly and professionally with senior staff, customers, and external partners

  • Manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment

  • Operate independently while collaborating effectively within a team

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Teams and PowerPoint

Eligibility & Work Authorization:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain any required federal clearance

  • Travel may be required to complete the security clearance process

  • Remote work authorized for candidates located anywhere within CONUS 50
