Position Overview

Self Care Learning Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team in a full-time remote capacity. This role is pivotal in providing therapeutic support to individuals, couples, and families facing various mental health challenges. As an LMFT, you will leverage your expertise to foster healing and resilience, guiding your clients toward healthier, more fulfilling lives.

About the Organization

Self Care Learning Counseling Center is committed to enhancing the mental health and well-being of the Denver community and beyond. Our outpatient office prioritizes a holistic approach to therapy, recognizing the interconnectedness of mental, emotional, and relational health. We embrace diversity and strive to create a safe, inclusive environment where every client feels valued and understood. We are passionate about empowering our clients through accessible mental health care.

Work Environment

As a remote employee, you will enjoy the flexibility and convenience of working from home, while still being an integral part of our caring and collaborative team. This setting allows for a balanced work-life integration, fostering both professional growth and personal well-being. Communication and support among team members are facilitated through virtual platforms to ensure you remain connected and engaged.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain positive and trusting relationships with clients, establishing a safe space for therapeutic collaboration.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to diagnose and treat a wide range of mental health disorders, tailoring therapeutic approaches to each individual client’s circumstances.
  • Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based practices and methodologies to support client progress.
  • Create and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the goals and needs of each client, ensuring regular reviews and adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor patient progress through ongoing evaluations, adapting therapeutic interventions based on measurable outcomes and feedback.
  • Coordinate care with other healthcare providers and, when necessary, refer clients to specialists for additional support.
  • Stay current with industry trends and best practices in counseling, participating in ongoing professional development and supervision.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clientele is diverse, encompassing individuals, couples, and families from various backgrounds and life stages. You will work with clients dealing with relationship issues, anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. A compassionate approach is essential as you help them navigate challenges and achieve their mental health objectives.

Qualifications
  • A current and active license as a Marriage and Family Therapist in the state of Colorado is required.
  • A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated experience in providing individual and group therapy, with a strong understanding of therapeutic modalities.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and time management abilities to handle a caseload effectively and maintain necessary administrative tasks.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with colleagues.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience working within a telehealth framework is advantageous, given the remote nature of this role.
  • Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems to document patient progress and manage treatment plans efficiently.
  • Specialized training or certifications in areas such as trauma-informed care, substance abuse counseling, or child and adolescent therapy is a plus.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 90,000 to 110,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. We offer a competitive benefits package that includes:

  • Comprehensive health insurance, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Liability insurance provided for therapists.
  • A retirement savings plan with company matching to help you secure your financial future.
  • Flexible work hours, allowing you to create a schedule that fits your lifestyle, with the option to work entirely from home.
  • Unlimited client referrals to help you build and grow your practice.
Career Growth Opportunities

At Self Care Learning Counseling Center, we believe in investing in our team members' professional development. We provide ongoing training and access to resources that foster clinical excellence and facilitate career advancement. This role offers the potential for growth within the organization, including opportunities to specialize in specific areas of therapy or take on leadership roles.
