This role operates within a Community Health Clinic setting, offering a remote work environment designed to provide flexibility while ensuring access to essential resources. • Conduct comprehensive psychotherapy sessions, utilizing various therapeutic techniques tailored to clients' unique mental health needs.
• Perform thorough assessments to diagnose mental health conditions, employing a variety of psychological tests and assessment tools specific to the community population.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by collaborating with clients to set realistic goals based on their circumstances and preferences.
• Provide immediate crisis intervention, including suicide risk assessments and coordination of possible hospitalization for clients in acute distress.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and primary care providers, to create a coordinated care plan for clients, ensuring holistic treatment.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with organizational policies and HIPAA regulations.
• Contribute to the ongoing refinement of clinical policies and procedures, leveraging your direct experience to enhance service delivery.
• Engage in continuous learning by attending staff meetings, trainings, and professional development workshops that support best practices in mental health care.

The LCSW will work with a diverse client base comprising individuals from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds facing challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dynamics. The role requires cultural sensitivity and an ability to engage clients effectively, leveraging therapeutic techniques that resonate with their lived experiences and challenges.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited program and a current LCSW license in the state of Kansas.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience providing mental health services, with a focus on evidence-based interventions.
• Strong understanding of psychiatric disorders, therapeutic modalities, and treatment planning for a range of mental health issues.
• Ability to build trust and rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds, demonstrating cultural competence and empathy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a proficiency in client documentation and team collaboration.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills essential for delivering responsive and effective client care.

• Experience working with integrated care models that include coordination with physical health providers.
• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and telehealth software to facilitate remote client interactions.
• Background in community-based mental health programs and services, particularly in underserved populations.
