• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to understand each patient's unique history and treatment needs.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that target trauma recovery, incorporating evidence-based modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions aimed at fostering healing, developing coping strategies, and enhancing emotional resilience.

• Offer crisis intervention and support in moments of emotional distress, ensuring clients receive immediate and appropriate assistance during trauma-related emergencies.

• Document all patient interactions and treatment processes accurately in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems effectively.

• Engage in regular case consultations and team meetings, contributing insights and collaborating on treatment strategies.

• Continuously enhance your professional development through opportunities for ongoing education and training in trauma-informed care.

Your primary focus will be on counseling individuals who have experienced trauma. You will play a crucial role in helping clients navigate the complexities of post-traumatic experiences, guiding them toward recovery and resilience. Understanding the nuances of trauma-related disorders will be paramount in providing effective therapeutic interventions.

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited program.

• Current and valid licensure as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Massachusetts.

• Proven ability to deliver trauma-focused therapies and interventions to clients.

• Strong communication skills, demonstrating empathy and non-judgmental support.

• Ability to manage high-stress situations while maintaining composure and professionalism.

• Proficiency with EHR systems and technology used in patient care.

• A collaborative spirit, with the ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience working with trauma-impacted populations is preferred.

• Demonstrated knowledge of trauma-related disorders and effective resilience-building approaches.
