• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients, using evidence-based practices to address a wide range of mental health issues.
• Utilize telehealth tools to maintain client confidentiality and provide a safe space for therapy.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on individual client assessments, ensuring alignment with their personal mental health goals.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client progress, session notes, and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in training, peer supervision, and staff meetings to enhance counseling skills.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers as necessary to deliver comprehensive care for clients with diverse needs.
• Monitor client progress and adjust therapeutic techniques to better suit their evolving needs.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Eagle Rock Behavioral Health, you will work with a diverse range of clients facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and more. Our commitment to accessible care means you will help individuals from various backgrounds, ensuring that they feel understood, heard, and empowered in their healing journeys.

• Active Virginia license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
• Bachelor's degree in psychology, social work, or a related field is required; a master’s degree is preferred.
• Proven experience in therapy and counseling, particularly in virtual settings, demonstrating effective communication and empathy.
• A strong dedication to providing high-quality client support and fostering positive therapeutic relationships.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, particularly in a telehealth context.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches.
• Experience working with clients in crisis or those exhibiting complex behavioral health challenges.
