Junior Business Development Representative (BDR)

Location: Remote (Hybrid/On-site if located in New York)

Compensation:
$60,000 base salary | $80,000 OTE (Competitive base + variable)
Variable compensation tied to qualified meetings and pipeline contribution.

Meera AI is looking for ambitious, curious, and driven graduates who want to build a career in technology sales. As a Junior Business Development Representative (BDR), you'll be part of our early sales team and work directly with experienced sales leaders to learn modern outbound sales, customer engagement, and pipeline generation.

No prior BDR experience is required: we're looking for individuals with strong communication skills, a willingness to learn, resilience, and the motivation to grow into future Account Executives. What You'll Learn & Do

As a Junior BDR, you'll receive hands-on coaching while learning how to:

• Identify and research prospective customers with tools like Clay & Apollo
• Execute outbound sales through email, phone, LinkedIn, and other channels
• Book qualified meetings for our VP of Sales and the Account Executive team
• Learn how to understand customer challenges and communicate business value
• Personalize outreach based on different industries and customer needs
• Learn modern sales methodologies and qualification frameworks
• Maintain accurate records in CRM platforms such as HubSpot
• Work closely with experienced sales leaders and receive ongoing mentorship
• Continuously improve messaging based on feedback and real customer conversations

Preferred Qualifications

The following are a plus:

• Internship or campus experience in sales, business development in customer-facing roles
• Leadership experience through student organizations, clubs, entrepreneurship, or competitions
• Familiarity with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce etc.)
• Exposure to LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Apollo, Clay
• Interest in AI, SaaS, or enterprise technology
• Competitive achievements in academics, sports, or extracurricular activities
