Position Title: LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT SPECIALIST - REMOTE 

Salary: $73000 - $75000 / (hourly equivalent)

Job Summary

FLIK is seeking a versatile and collaborative Policy Writer / L&D Specialist for a 15-month full-time contract engagement. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who excels in creating clear, compliant documentation and is equally comfortable supporting Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives. This individual will serve as a key member of the team, helping shape policies, training content, and internal communications.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and update company policies, procedures, training materials, and internal documentation.

Ensure all content aligns with legal, regulatory, and organizational standards.

Partner with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into clear policies, learning materials, and job aids.

Support Learning & Development efforts, including creating guides, training content, and enablement resources.

Maintain consistency in tone, format, and version control across all documentation.

Support audits and compliance reviews related to policy and training documentation.

Qualifications:

Preferred: Experience in policy writing, technical writing, documentation development, or compliance-related content.

Required: Strong writing, editing, and organizational skills.

Required: Ability to translate complex information into clear, user-friendly language for both policies and training materials.

Required: Experience working in corporate or regulated environments.

Experience in project management, including managing timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.

Experience supporting Learning & Development (L&D) initiatives or creating training content strongly valued.

Background in document writing, content development, or instructional design is a plus.

Compensation & Terms:

Full-time hours for 15 months (contract role)

Compensation equivalent to an annual salary of $75,000, paid on an hourly basis

Fully remote role - open to candidates based anywhere, with required availability aligned to Eastern Standard Time (EST)

Potential opportunity to convert to a full-time permanent role with FLIK
