Level
- Manage a caseload of college readiness students, providing individualized transition coaching and ongoing support.
- Develop and implement personalized transition plans addressing executive functioning, self-advocacy, social skills, emotional regulation, and independent living skills.
- Facilitate one-on-one coaching sessions with students and maintain regular communication with families regarding student progress.
- Design and deliver workshops, webinars, and programming for students and parents related to college readiness and transition-to-college topics.
- Monitor and document student progress, maintaining accurate and timely records within institutional systems.
- Provide end-of-program reporting and recommendations for continued student development.
- Serve as a resource to families, students, and professionals regarding Beacon College’s transition model and college readiness programming.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Manage a regional pipeline of prospective students for college readiness programs.
- Conduct proactive outreach to prospective students, families, and professionals to generate interest and drive applications for college readiness programs.
- Guide prospective students and families through the college readiness application process, including encouraging completion of in-progress applications and document collection.
- Review applications and support admissions decision-making for college readiness programs in collaboration with leadership.
- Build and maintain relationships with schools, educational consultants, therapists, and other referral sources.
- Meet defined goals related to recruitment activities, college readiness program applications, enrollments, and student outcomes.
- Represent Beacon College at conferences, events, and virtual programs to promote college readiness offerings.
- Utilize CRM systems to track prospect engagement, application progress, and conversion outcomes.
- Partner with Admissions and College Readiness to cultivate and transition prospective students from college readiness programs into the undergraduate admissions pipeline, ensuring alignment in communication, timing, and student readiness.
- Collaborate with Admissions and Marketing teams to support recruitment campaigns and enrollment strategies.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Master’s degree required in Counseling, Education, Psychology, Special Education, or a related field.
- Experience working with students with learning differences and/or ADHD (required).
- Experience in college readiness programming, student coaching, or transition support (preferred).
- Experience in admissions, recruitment, or enrollment management (preferred).
- Strong coaching and advising skills, including the ability to support students with diverse learning needs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage students, families, and professionals.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage both caseload and recruitment pipeline.
- Proficiency with CRM systems and student information systems (Salesforce preferred).
- Effective presentation and facilitation skills for workshops and virtual programming.
- Ability to balance dual responsibilities of student support and recruitment with professionalism and consistency.
- Ability to build trust-based relationships with students and families navigating the transition-to-college process.
- Ability to work independently in a remote, regional environment while remaining highly responsive and organized.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to travel and work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
- Ability to maintain a professional and patient approach when working with students, parents, and other Beacon College community members.
