This position is primarily remote, providing flexibility to accommodate your work-life balance while engaging with a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to early childhood development. You will interact regularly with colleagues, children, and families using digital communication platforms, ensuring accessibility for all clients in a virtual detox center setting. Our virtual environment facilitates a collaborative approach, where ideas and insights can be shared freely, optimizing the quality of care delivered to our clients.

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments of children’s developmental and emotional needs.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Individualized Family Service Plans (IFSP) tailored to each child's unique requirements.
• Monitor and evaluate progress while actively collaborating with families, educators, and interdisciplinary teams to promote effective outcomes.
• Offer support, education, and resources to families to empower them in enhancing their child’s development.
• Adhere to all relevant Federal and State regulations to ensure compliance and ethical practice.
• Utilize evidence-based practices that incorporate Natural Learning Environment Principles during interactions and interventions.
• Build strong relationships with children and families to create a nurturing and responsive atmosphere conducive to learning and growth.

The primary focus of this role is on young children experiencing disabilities or developmental delays, and their families. You will engage with a diverse client population, ensuring that each family receives personalized care and attention based on their individual circumstances. By employing a family-centered approach, you will help children learn essential skills during critical developmental phases, addressing physical, cognitive, social/emotional, and communication aspects.

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work or a Doctorate in Social Work.
• Current licensure as an LCSW by the Department of Public Health in Connecticut.
• A valid driver’s license is required for occasional travel if necessary.
• One year of experience working with children in early intervention settings.
• Commitment to implementing Natural Learning Environment Practices in all aspects of your work.
• Strong organizational and time management skills to efficiently handle varying client needs and priorities.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, fostering collaboration and understanding.
• Respectful engagement with all individuals, demonstrating an ability to work well within a team-oriented environment.
