• Conduct thorough client assessments to evaluate mental health needs, utilizing established psychological frameworks and evidence-based assessments.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans for individual students, couples, or families, ensuring an approach tailored to their unique situations.
• Facilitate engaging therapy sessions in various formats—individual, couples, or family—using techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), play therapy, or other modalities that best serve your clients.
• Collaborate with educators, school counselors, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic approach to student mental health, ensuring seamless communication and care continuity.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in compliance with legal and ethical standards, utilizing secure electronic health record systems for documentation and progress notes.
• Participate in regular supervision and engage in ongoing professional development to enhance your clinical skills and stay current with mental health best practices.

Your primary focus will be supporting students who face a wide range of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depressive disorders, behavioral issues, and family-related stressors. By working closely with school personnel, you will also assist in developing mental health awareness programs among students and teachers to foster a supportive school culture.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited institution is required.
• Active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia is a must.
• Minimum of three years of clinical social work experience, specifically in school-based or child mental health settings.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health diagnoses and contemporary treatment methodologies.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with a strong empathetic approach to client interactions.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team.

• Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for remote therapy sessions would be advantageous.
• Familiarity with school policies and mental health resources accessible to students and families.
• Prior involvement in community outreach or mental health education initiatives is a plus.
