• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to understand each student's unique mental health needs, ensuring that individualized treatment plans are developed and documented in a timely manner.
• Deliver tailored therapy services—ranging from individual therapy sessions to group therapy workshops—using established evidence-based practices to address diverse mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, and behavioral concerns.
• Collaborate with teachers, school counselors, and other support staff to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support, creating a seamless environment for students to flourish.
• Provide crisis intervention and immediate support to students experiencing acute mental health crises, demonstrating your empathy and professionalism in high-pressure situations.
• Participate in community outreach programs and educational initiatives aimed at raising mental health awareness among students, parents, and faculty, thus reducing stigma and promoting open discussions about mental well-being.

Your focus will primarily be on school-aged children and adolescents facing various mental health challenges. This role requires a commitment to understanding the unique pressures these students may encounter within their educational environment, including academic stress, social dynamics, and familial influences. You will engage with a diverse client base, enhancing your ability to connect with students from varying cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marital and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and forge trusting relationships with students and their families.
• Cultural competence and sensitivity; with a focus on understanding the needs of diverse populations.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities to handle a caseload effectively and ensure the timely completion of necessary documentation.

• Experience working within school systems or educational environments, particularly with children and adolescents.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic techniques and interventions tailored for young populations.
• Prior experience in crisis intervention and management, particularly in an educational context.
