This position operates in a flexible remote setting, allowing counselors to connect with clients from the comfort of their own homes while maintaining a professional atmosphere. • Conduct comprehensive assessments utilizing DSM-5 criteria to develop individualized treatment plans for each client.
• Provide high-quality, one-on-one therapy sessions focused on behavioral health issues such as anxiety, depression, and trauma.
• Utilize various therapeutic modalities adapted to meet the specific needs of students, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and person-centered therapy.
• Set clear therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and actively monitor their progress towards achieving these goals.
• Offer teletherapy options to ensure accessibility for all clients, particularly those with transportation or schedule challenges.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation to meet ethical standards and insurance requirements, ensuring all records reflect progress and treatment efficacy.
• Engage in ongoing professional development by participating in workshops, seminars, and continuing education courses to stay abreast of best practices in mental health.

This role primarily focuses on working with students who may be facing emotional, social, or academic challenges. You will address various issues, including learning disabilities, family dynamics, and emotional disturbances, through a lens of understanding and compassion. Our aim is to foster a supportive atmosphere where students can openly share their struggles and receive the tailored support they need to thrive.

• Current and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, allowing for effective connections with diverse clients and stakeholders.

• Previous experience working in school settings or with youth populations is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in utilizing teletherapy platforms and maintaining client engagement through virtual means.
• Previous experience with crisis intervention strategies and skills in managing acute psychological needs.

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience and caseload. Our compensation structure reflects our commitment to attracting top talent in the mental health field.
