Job Summaryย 

The Recruiter is responsible for ensuring human resources operations are executed in an efficient and effective manner by providing necessary support to colleagues and leadership alike. This position will contribute to a service-oriented Human Resources function by guaranteeing all recruitment-related processes are carried out fairly with consistency across the resort.ย 

Key Duties and Responsibilities ย 

  • Responsible forย the full-cycle recruitment process,ย whichย includesย posting positions,ย screening applications,ย interviewingย candidatesย and preparing offer letters forย all positions includingย line-level colleagues, leadership members, and international program participantsย (J-1 and H-2B programs)ย 
  • Manage relationships with third-partyย recruitmentย agencies on sourcing candidatesย 
  • Strengthen recruiting pipelines through community partnerships and career fairsย 
  • Responsible for the administration of the contract renewal process for seasonal colleaguesย 
  • Conducts compensation and benefits analyses on a regular basis to benchmark the competition, giving recommendations to the HR Manager and HR Directorย 
  • Assistย in the execution of processes that attract, recognize, develop, andย retainย colleagues to support the organization's short- and long-term strategic business needsย 
  • Support the onboarding of new colleagues in conjunction with the HR Coordinator, including inputting information into HRIS systems (ADP, SuccessFactors)ย 
  • Administer benefits programs including health insurance, leaves of absence, workers' compensation, and 401(k) plan, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, andย timelyย communication with colleaguesย 
  • Maintain up-to-date employee records, documentation, and filesย in accordance withย company requirementsย 
  • Provide employee records, data, and/or statistics as may be required by members of managementย 
  • Support the offboarding of terminated colleagues in conjunction with the HR Coordinator, including conductingย and compilingย exit interviews, reporting any concerns to the HR Managerย 
  • Provide consultation to managers on recruitment processes, performance management, employee relations, etc.ย 
  • Assist with Learning & Development programs as neededย 
  • Performย additionalย duties as assigned by the HR Manager or other members of managementย 

Skills, Experience & Educational Requirementsย ย 

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent hospitality experience)ย 
  • Minimum of 2ย years of experienceย in Human Resources isย required, ideally within a luxury resort setting
  • Strong knowledge of talent acquisition processes, including domestic and international (J-1 and H-2B programs) recruitment practices
  • Proficient in computer systems,ย such as Microsoft Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)ย 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective working relationships across all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability toย work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Flexible, being able to balance multiple priorities while adhering to set timelinesย 
Physical Requirements
The ideal candidate must be able to perform all physical requirements of the job in a safe manner, with or without reasonable accommodation. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to:
  • Standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and bending in an operational environment for extended periods
  • Frequent bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, and pulling
  • Lifting and carrying of loads weighing up to 30 pounds
  • Remaining in a stationary position for long periods
  • Constantly operating a computer and other office productivity machinery
  • Working in outdoor environments, including high altitudes, that may present extreme weather conditions such as snow, ice, rain, heat, wind, etc.
