Luminous Health System is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our team in Augusta, Georgia. This full-time remote position focuses on providing high-quality mental health services to students within our school facilities. This role is fully remote, allowing for flexibility in your work schedule while maintaining a focus on school settings. You will need to be available for patients during regular school hours, typically Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. As a remote LCSW, you will utilize telehealth technology to provide services, ensuring continuity of care for your patients while managing your workload efficiently from your home office.

The LCSW will have a range of responsibilities including, but not limited to:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments of students’ mental health, including evaluating emotional, behavioral, and social functioning.
• Providing individual and group psychotherapy to address various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD).
• Developing and implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs while ensuring cultural competency.
• Collaborating with educators, school psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to student care.
• Monitoring individual patient progress and adjusting treatment plans based on outcomes and feedback from both patients and interdisciplinary team members.
• Educating patients and their families about mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to foster an understanding of mental health and wellness.
• Maintaining confidentiality and upholding ethical standards by obtaining informed consent and adhering to all regulatory requirements relevant to practice.

This role primarily focuses on supporting students in the school environment. You will work closely with young individuals facing a variety of mental health challenges, aiming to promote emotional resilience and effective coping strategies. Your work will significantly impact their academic performance and overall well-being, ensuring they have the tools and support needed to succeed both personally and academically.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia.
• A minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychotherapy and mental health services.
• Strong clinical skills for assessing and developing appropriate treatment plans based on best practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, essential for building relationships with patients, families, and a multidisciplinary team.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) and other relevant technology to manage patient information.
• A robust understanding of various mental health conditions and a commitment to continued learning in the field.

While not mandatory, additional credentials or experience in trauma-informed care, adolescent mental health, or working within school systems is highly desirable. Familiarity with community resources and local support networks can enhance your effectiveness in providing care.
