Remote Landscape Management information

How does a remote landscape management professional typically collaborate with on-site teams and clients to ensure project success?

Remote Landscape Management professionals often coordinate closely with on-site crews and clients using digital tools such as video calls, project management software, and real-time mapping applications. Regular virtual meetings and clear documentation help bridge the distance, ensuring that instructions and feedback are accurately communicated. Building strong relationships remotely requires proactive communication and quick responsiveness to any issues that arise. By leveraging technology, remote managers can monitor progress, address challenges promptly, and maintain high standards in landscape maintenance or design projects.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a remote landscape management professional?

To thrive in Remote Landscape Management, you need a solid understanding of horticulture, landscape design principles, and environmental regulations, often supported by a degree in landscaping or a related field. Familiarity with remote monitoring software, GIS mapping tools, and automated irrigation systems is typically required. Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management skills help you effectively coordinate teams and address client needs from a distance. These competencies are vital to ensuring landscapes are maintained efficiently and sustainably, even when managed off-site.

What is remote landscape management?

Remote landscape management refers to overseeing and maintaining outdoor spaces such as gardens, parks, or commercial landscapes using digital tools and technology, rather than being physically present on-site. This can involve using remote sensors, drones, and software to monitor plant health, irrigation, and other environmental factors. Professionals in this field may coordinate local crews, schedule maintenance, and analyze data to ensure efficient and sustainable landscape care. This approach allows for more effective resource management and can be especially useful for managing large or multiple properties.

Job description

THE ROLE

As the IT Functional Analyst for Order-to-Cash (OTC) Systems, you will serve as the functional lead driving the evolution of Everpure's global order management and fulfillment landscape on SAP S/4HANA. Operating at an individual contributor level, you will act as a critical connector between Global Supply Chain operations, Sales, and technical engineering squads. Your mission will be to architect and implement highly scalable, complex order management systems-including advanced configuration workflows-ensuring our Order-to-Cash infrastructure seamlessly handles high-volume global transactions with peak operational velocity.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Own Complex O2C Delivery: Determine the optimal methods, practices, and procedures to design, configure, and implement advanced SAP S/4HANA Order-to-Cash solutions, with a deep focus on core Sales & Distribution (SD), order management, advanced pricing models, and billing.
  • Architect Advanced Product Workflows: Spearhead the system design for complex order scenarios, including Configure-to-Order (CTO) models, Variant Configuration (VC/AVC), and serialization/installed-base management workflows.
  • Coordinate Cross-Functional Initiatives: Act as the primary team lead coordinating activities across disparate functional areas-including Finance (AR), Materials Management (MM), Global Trade Services (GTS), and Customer Service-to deliver seamless ecosystem integrations.
  • Optimize and Innovate Processes: Analyze highly variable business factors and data to identify system bottlenecks, independently introducing automation and optimization to improve order accuracy, reduce cycle times, and minimize custom code.
  • Resolve High-Impact Issues: Serve as the advanced escalation point for complex technical system issues, performing root-cause analysis and translating intricate business requirements into precise functional specifications and configuration guides.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Advanced SAP OTC Expertise: Broad, hands-on experience configuring and scaling SAP Sales & Distribution (SD) modules, including direct experience driving full-lifecycle ERP implementations within a global multi-entity environment.
  • Configuration Scenario Mastery: Strong domain knowledge of complex scenario modeling, such as Configure-to-Order (CTO), Advanced Variant Configuration, and modern SAP Fiori applications.
  • Cross-Module Integration Savvy: Deep understanding of down-stream and up-stream integration points spanning core Supply Chain, Materials Management (MM), Customer Service (CS/SM), and Accounts Receivable (AR).
  • Strategic Communication & Relationship Building: A proven ability to network with key stakeholders outside your immediate area of expertise, gaining acceptance and shaping the thinking of cross-functional business partners in sensitive technical situations without damaging relationships.
  • Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Everpure's policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
