Job description

About NineTwoThree
NineTwoThree AI Studio is a premier product design, engineering, and marketing firm specializing in custom AI, web, and mobile applications for established brands and funded startups. We are based in Massachusetts but with an American and European staff and a strong, collaborative remote culture.
We're a team that loves doing good work with great people. Our relatively small size keeps us fast and nimble. The wealth of knowledge, experience and talent paired with proven recipes and best practices allows us to find opportunities to help new products succeed.
With a portfolio of over 150 launched products over 13 years, NineTwoThree has garnered recognition as a top AI agency in the U.S., earning accolades such as inclusion in the Inc. 5000 list for four consecutive years and being named among the top 50 AI firms alongside industry leaders like Microsoft, NVIDIA, and IBM. We've built AI and ML tech for big brands like Consumer Reports, FanDuel, and Nara, as well as startups in legal tech, logistics, education, and more.
Job Description
As a Senior Product Manager at NineTwoThree, you will drive exciting digital product work with a fast-paced and technology-forward team, taking leadership for concept and launch of half a dozen new client products every year. Acting as the primary point of contact, you will effectively serve as the client's Head of Product, quickly gaining a deep understanding of their business and the needs of their end users. You will work closely with clients to transform their vision into a clear actionable roadmap for their digital web, mobile, or AI product.
You will then use that roadmap to define precise requirements for each key milestone toward a useful product release. Collaborating cross-functionally with our internal teams-design, project management, engineering, and QA-you will guide products from concept through to launch. NineTwoThree moves fast, and you will work with the team to ensure projects stay on track and within scope, while also helping clients adjust priorities, align expectations, and make necessary trade-offs when challenges arise. You will also work across several clients, flexing and building product muscle in various domains, business models, and systems - an enormous professional development opportunity.
As an AI-first agency, we place a high value on curiosity and a willingness to learn, especially regarding AI and machine learning. You will collaborate closely with our engineering team to build innovative products that leverage these technologies. Keeping up with the latest AI trends and tools will enable you to bring fresh insights and ensure our solutions remain at the forefront of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage 2 to 3 active clients and projects simultaneously, maintaining a clear understanding of project status, timelines, and identifying any potential blockers that require attention.
  • Research the client's market to understand industry trends, competitive landscape, and opportunities for differentiation
  • Work with the client and additional stakeholders to understand their product vision and define requirements for the full initial product scope
  • Work directly with product designers to translate client requirements into intuitive, user-friendly designs and ensure seamless integration with the development process
  • Define user stories and requirements for project managers to implement into tasks and acceptance criteria for development and QA
  • Lead weekly client meetings to provide updates, discuss project progress, and demo development milestones.
  • Manage client expectations, including facilitating difficult conversations around scope and prioritization to ensure that budget and timeline requirements are met.
  • Support sales activities by joining prospect calls and writing proposals, scoping documents, and timelines.
  • Identify and manage opportunities to up-sell clients on additional product features, marketing services, or ongoing maintenance and support contracts.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience as a product manager of digital products (SaaS, mobile, web, AI, etc;
  • Strong experience with relationship management, either in a client-facing role or with executive-level stakeholders
  • Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills to communicate effectively with customers and project teams;
  • Ability to work independently and with a team in a dynamic product-development environment;
  • Attention to details, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and critical-thinking skills;
  • Located in the EST time zone (or adjacent, and able to overlap the European team at least between 8am-1pm Eastern);

Benefits
We are glad to offer you:
  • 100% remote job
  • Annual paid vacation: 20 working days per year during the first 3 years, further increasing to 25 days in later years
  • Paid sick leave and holidays
  • Reimbursement of expenses for professional development courses/certifications (up to 100% in agreement with the Manager)
  • Well-being budget
  • Team and atmosphere: we hire people we trust, so you'll be the part of a strong positive engineering culture, a tightly-knit team of professionals with a good sense of humor

Hiring process:
We value your time and ours and make the process fast and easy. Our interview process takes the following steps: HR interview, test challenge, second interview with Head of Product, third interview with CTO and Senior Product Manager, Offer.
