As a Remote Mental Health Counselor, you will work from the comfort of your own home, leveraging technology to connect with clients via video chat. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting one-on-one video counseling sessions with adult clients, addressing various emotional and mental health issues.
• Utilizing screening tools to assess client stability, ensuring that only those with low acuity challenges are permitted to book appointments.
• Encouraging open discussions that allow clients to explore their emotions, thoughts, and personal relationships.
• Identifying, diagnosing, and managing emotional disorders such as anxiety, depression, grief, and stress.
• Formulating comprehensive treatment plans that are tailored to individual client needs, utilizing a solution-focused methodology.
• Monitoring client progress and adapting treatment plans as necessary, while also teaching effective coping strategies.

This role focuses primarily on adult clients who seek mental health support yet fall within the category of low acuity needs. To qualify for this position, candidates must possess:

• A Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
• An independent license in one of the following: LMFT, LPC, or LCSW.
• Strong computer skills and familiarity with teletherapy platforms.

Ideal candidates will also demonstrate:

• A background in outpatient therapy settings, with experience specifically in virtual counseling.
