Job description

Company Description
While this position is remote, we're looking for candidates that live in the U.S. This is to facilitate communication and coordination with internal teams and clients.
Strategic smarts + technical expertise + artistic magic. Here, that's our not-so-secret sauce for cooking up marketing that doesn't just capture attention - it drives real business growth for our clients.
We support organizations across a wide range of industries, offering services including branding, web design/development, SEO, digital advertising, and content creation, where strategic consulting is a given. We serve as guides and advisors to clients, navigating them through the complexities of the digital landscape. Our Creative team also plays the crucial role of storytellers, bringing narratives to life that resonate with audiences and drive meaningful engagement.
At The Digital Ring, we describe ourselves as being "data-driven, human-focused"; while data and tech form the backbone of our marketing strategy, we never lose sight of the human element. Our approach is centered on understanding the needs, emotions, and aspirations of our audience, ensuring that every campaign resonates on a human level and fosters genuine connections with our clients and their customers.
Job Description
The Jr. Marketing Specialist role at TDR is a 3-month paid contract designed for someone hungry to break into agency-side digital marketing, and ready to learn fast. This isn't a coffee-fetching internship. From day one, you'll be doing real, hands-on work across our core service lines: Social Media, SEO, Paid Media, and CRM / Marketing Automation. You'll support live client campaigns, get exposure to how a full-service agency actually operates, and build a foundation that few entry-level marketers ever get the chance to develop.
You won't be doing it alone. You'll have full team support, access to our internal curriculum, and a dedicated mentor guiding your growth across each discipline. We treat this role as an investment: our intent is to convert strong performers into a full-time offer at the end of the 3 months, with a long-term development path toward a Brand Strategist role owning client strategy and partnership.
We're less concerned with what's currently on your resume and more interested in how you think, how you learn, and how you show up. If you're curious, organized, coachable, and excited to get your hands dirty across multiple marketing channels, we want to talk to you.
Responsibilities
  • Social Media support: Assist in planning, scheduling, and publishing content across client social channels; help draft captions, monitor engagement, and pull performance reports.
  • SEO support: Contribute to keyword research, on-page optimization, content briefs, technical audits, and ongoing reporting for client SEO engagements.
  • Paid Media support: Help build, launch, and monitor paid campaigns across platforms like Google Ads and Meta Ads, including ad copy drafting, audience setup, QA, and performance pacing.
  • CRM / Marketing Automation support: Assist with email builds, list segmentation, workflow setup, and reporting inside platforms like HubSpot and other CRM/marketing automation tools.
  • Participate in client meetings, take notes, and help track action items and deliverables.
  • Collaborate with strategists, creatives, and specialists across the agency to keep client work moving on time and on budget.
  • Engage actively with TDR's internal curriculum and mentorship program - taking ownership of your own learning and applying it to live client work.
  • Bring fresh ideas, ask sharp questions, and look for ways to add value beyond what's assigned.

Qualifications
We're focused on aptitude over background. The right person could be a recent grad, a career-changer, or someone with a couple of internships under their belt. What matters most:
  • A genuine interest in digital marketing and a desire to build a long-term career in the field (ideally on the agency side).
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills - able to express ideas clearly and professionally with both internal teammates and clients.
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines.
  • Curiosity and coachability - you ask "why," seek out feedback, and apply it quickly.
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset; you don't wait to be told what to do.
  • Comfort with technology and a willingness to learn new platforms quickly.
  • Bonus points for any hands-on exposure to:
    • Google Ads, Meta Ads, or other paid media platforms
    • SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Google Search Console
    • HubSpot or other CRM / marketing automation platforms
    • Native social platforms and scheduling tools (e.g., Sprout Social, Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite)
  • Resilience and positivity - attitude is everything here at TDR.
