A Remote Lactation job involves providing virtual breastfeeding support and education to new parents through video calls, phone consultations, or online messaging. They may work independently, for telehealth companies, or with hospitals and clinics. This job allows professionals to assist families from a distance while maintaining flexibility in their schedule.

You’ll frequently document consultations using secure electronic health record systems and may collaborate with pediatricians, OB-GYNs, or other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care. Additionally, you may spend time providing follow-up support via phone, email, or patient portals to address ongoing questions or concerns.
