Job description

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in MIS, Computer Science, Information Technology, or comparable technical/educational discipline strongly preferred
  • A minimum of 5 years' progressive experience in a related field preferred
  • 5+ years' experience working with technical support of Human Capital Management systems
  • 3+ years' experience working with technical support of ServiceNow or a similar service delivery ticketing system

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Experience participating in the implementation and testing of at least one cloud-based system
  • Experience using ServiceNow preferred
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Experience using databases and creating reports
  • Experience working with Human Resources data and processes
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Self-starter, able to effectively prioritize activities with little direction
  • Ability to foster and maintain strong professional relationships within and outside the department
  • Ability to clearly communicate verbally and in writing

Certain states and localities require employers to post a reasonable estimate of salary range. A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $85,200-$106,500 annually. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions, that is not included in the base pay.

A Brief Overview:
The Senior HRIS Analyst supports our global Human Capital Management/HRIS systems (Core HR, talent acquisition, learning, performance, etc.) to keep HR operations running smoothly, while taking ownership of key system domains, contributing to their ongoing roadmap, and participating in broader HRIS projects including system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvement initiatives.
In this role, the Senior HRIS Analyst also serves as the primary functional subject matter expert (SME) and HRIS team advocate within the ServiceNow HR Service Delivery (HRSD) ecosystem. Working closely with the ServiceNow product owner, this individual works within the HRIS team to identify and communicate business needs and contribute to the functional roadmap for HRSD enhancements. This individual also owns user acceptance testing (UAT) for all net new and modified HRIS workflows. This person also monitors and supports the ADP Vantage-to-ServiceNow integration, partnering with IT integration teams to ensure HR data flows accurately into ServiceNow to support global HR workflows.
Beyond day-to-day system support, this role takes an active continuous improvement stance - regularly assessing how the HRIS team uses ServiceNow, identifying opportunities to enhance workflows and processes, and leveraging ServiceNow reporting, Excel, and AI-assisted analytics to surface ticket trends, bottlenecks, and actionable insights for the broader HRIS team.
Responsibilities:
  • Maintain knowledge across Human Capital Management/HRIS systems (HR, payroll, talent acquisition, learning, performance, etc.)
  • Serve as a subject matter expert and owner of at least one HCM system
  • Maintain relationships with IT and/or software vendor to escalate tickets, manage releases, and stay informed of roadmaps
  • Collaborate with HRIS team members, HR, Payroll, IT, and other appropriate teams to recommend system and process enhancements
  • Participate in system implementations, upgrades, and testing
  • Serve as an advocate for HRIS and HR practitioners with IT and other business areas
  • Use data to inform system strategy, efficiency opportunities, and process improvements
  • Optimize the use of AI appropriate to HR applications
  • Use ticketing system to provide front line support to users and identify support trends
  • Write and run reports from HRIS systems
  • Create audits to maintain data integrity
  • Maintain confidential information according to global and local data privacy laws
  • Communicate technical information to users at all levels of the organization
  • Participate in broader HRIS projects including regular system upgrades, enhancements, and changes that support process improvements and the evolving HR operations landscape
