Risk Analyst - Entry Level

Ideal candidate would reside in Memphis, TN, but open to remote candidates in the United States.

• Foundational understanding of cybersecurity and information security principles (CIA triad, access control, threat modeling, incident response basics)

Job Description

• Support ServiceNow GRC operations: assist with ticket triage, policy exception reviews, risk assessment reports, application security posture management and reporting within the ServiceNow platform

• Assist with third-party risk assessments: review vendor submissions, track evidence packets, and support the TPRM process

• Maintain compliance documentation: help document and update policy mapping workbooks, risk registers, and control frameworks (NIST, ISO, HIPAA, GDPR)

• Lead development of SOPs and policies: incident response, configuration management, access control, patching, help desk operations, cloud governance, and data governance

• Support Microsoft 365 security operations: assist with Purview data loss prevention alerts, information protection reviews, and app governance tasks

• Draft process documentation: help build and maintain runbooks, standard operating procedures, and internal knowledge base articles

• Evaluate MFA enforcement, privileged access management, and identity and access controls.

• Track vulnerability management processes and patching cadence.

• Learn and apply GRC tools and frameworks under the guidance of senior team members

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Exposure to Microsoft Purview, Microsoft Defender, or Entra ID / PIM

• Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, or PCI-DSS compliance requirements

• Experience with Confluence, or similar project/documentation tools

• Basic understanding of core technology and security concepts, including the following: Networking, Endpoint security, Identity and access management, Vulnerability management

• Academic background in Cybersecurity, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $40.00/hr.
