Self Care Learning Counseling Center is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our team of mental health professionals. • Establish a positive, therapeutic rapport with clients to ensure a safe and trusting environment.
• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, ensuring the development of appropriate treatment plans.
• Create individualized treatment plans that reflect the unique circumstances, values, and goals of each patient.
• Lead both individual and group therapy sessions, adapting methodologies to best suit client needs and preferences.
• Regularly monitor client progress through ongoing assessments and feedback, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans as required.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and refer clients to specialized services when necessary, ensuring a comprehensive approach to mental health.

Your role will primarily focus on adolescent and adult patients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, family conflict, and other mental health concerns. By engaging with clients from diverse backgrounds, you will gain insight into various cultural perspectives, which informs our approach to therapy. Our clinic serves a wide range of individuals, ensuring that you will encounter a variety of cases, fostering professional growth and expertise.

• Hold an active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist.
• Possess a Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Demonstrate experience in providing both individual and group therapy, showcasing a strong understanding of therapeutic techniques and interventions.
• Exhibit exceptional organizational and time-management skills to balance a caseload effectively while also attending to administrative responsibilities.

• Previous experience working within a community health setting.
• Familiarity with a range of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy.
• Experience in crisis intervention and management.

The salary range for this position is between $90,000 and $110,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
