Job description

Location: Remote (U.S. Based)
Job Type: Full-Time
Clearance Requirement: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Join Our Mission
Join MAJUS Consulting in supporting a large-scale federal digital services program focused on improving how users interact with critical government services and information. We are seeking a Drupal Business Analyst who thrives at the intersection of business needs, user experience, and technical delivery within a complex enterprise Drupal environment.
This is not a traditional Business Analyst role focused only on documentation. This position is deeply embedded within the delivery team and works closely with UX, developers, stakeholders, and project leadership to help shape how digital services are designed, implemented, and continuously improved.
What is the Mission?
The Drupal Business Analyst serves as a key bridge between stakeholders, UX/design teams, developers, and project leadership within a large enterprise Drupal platform. This role supports requirements gathering, workflow analysis, wireframe collaboration, roadmap planning, Drupal platform operations, and iterative delivery activities to help ensure successful implementation of user-centered digital solutions.
The ideal candidate is comfortable operating across both business and technical conversations, can quickly develop deep knowledge of the platform and workflows, and is capable of translating ideas and requirements into actionable functionality and delivery priorities.
What Will You Do?
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, UX teams, developers, and project leadership to gather, refine, and document business and functional requirements
  • Work closely with UX and design resources to help translate wireframes, workflows, and user interactions into implementable Drupal functionality
  • Develop a strong understanding of the Drupal platform, integrations, workflows, and business operations
  • Support roadmap planning, feature prioritization, backlog refinement, and implementation sequencing activities
  • Participate in stakeholder interviews, discovery sessions, demonstrations, and working sessions
  • Assist with Drupal content management activities, including content entry, updates, organization, and publishing workflows
  • Develop user guides, workflow documentation, operational procedures, and training materials
  • Help coordinate communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Support Agile/Scrum delivery activities, including sprint planning, user story refinement, testing coordination, and release support
  • Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and validation of delivered functionality
  • Identify opportunities to improve workflows, usability, operational efficiency, and user experience across the platform
What Skills and Abilities Do You Possess?
Experience Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Functional Analyst, Product Analyst, or similar role supporting digital platforms or enterprise systems
  • Experience supporting Drupal CMS environments or large-scale content management platforms
  • Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements
  • Experience working alongside UX/design teams and collaborating around wireframes, workflows, and user interactions
  • Experience working directly with stakeholders, product owners, developers, and project managers
  • Experience supporting Agile/Scrum delivery environments
  • Ability to quickly learn and become highly proficient in complex systems and workflows
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience developing documentation, user guides, training materials, and operational procedures
Technical & Functional Knowledge
  • Drupal CMS experience is highly desired; candidates without direct Drupal experience must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn and become proficient within a complex enterprise Drupal environment
  • Familiarity with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar Agile/project management platforms
  • Understanding of user-centered design, usability, and accessibility concepts
  • Familiarity with website operations, digital workflows, and enterprise platform support
  • Ability to understand technical discussions and translate them into business-friendly communication and actionable requirements
Education Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree preferred in Business, Information Systems, Human-Centered Design, Communications, Digital Services, or related field
  • Equivalent practical experience will also be considered
Security Requirements
  • Must be legally authorized to work for any employer in the United States
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Salary and Benefits
Salary Range: $80,000 - $130,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications
MAJUS Consulting offers:
  • Competitive compensation
  • Health, dental, and vision benefits
  • Paid time off and holidays
  • Professional development opportunities
  • Collaborative and mission-focused culture
  • Opportunity to support meaningful federal digital transformation initiatives
Work Location
This position is fully remote for candidates located within the United States, with occasional travel potentially required based on customer or project needs.
