This position is fully remote, allowing you to provide counseling services from the comfort of your home while serving clients across Nashville, Tennessee, and beyond. As a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), your responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments to develop individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
• Facilitating ongoing communication with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders regarding client progress and treatment adjustments.
• Coordinating home visits, both physical and virtual, to ensure thorough evaluations and continuous support for clients in their environments.
• Ensuring that treatment plans are implemented effectively, monitoring progress through regular evaluations and modifying strategies as necessary.
• Participating in interdisciplinary team meetings to collaborate on client cases and contribute insights to improve overall program effectiveness.
• Completing detailed monthly and quarterly progress notes documenting client advancements and any revisions to treatment strategies.
• Training staff and team members regarding the effective execution of therapy techniques and ensuring adherence to documentation protocols.
• Supporting clients through follow-up interviews and additional home visits as needed, fostering an ongoing relationship geared towards their growth and recovery.
• Maintaining meticulous records to ensure data accessibility for authorized parties, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
• Acting as a liaison with the mental health community to strengthen support systems and develop innovative strategies for better client outcomes.

You will work with a wide range of clients, including adults and youth, who are facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and family dysfunction. Your role will be critical in tailoring therapeutic approaches that resonate with different demographics and cultural backgrounds, enhancing the effectiveness of treatment.

To succeed in this role, candidates must possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a closely related field.
• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in Tennessee.
• A minimum of 2 years of professional counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• Strong understanding of both legal and ethical standards governing mental health practices.
• Proficient interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build rapport with diverse client populations.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record (EMR) software and telehealth platforms for efficient service delivery.

While the above qualifications are mandatory, candidates with specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, substance abuse counseling, or trauma-informed care will be highly regarded. This specialized knowledge will enhance your ability to respond to the complex and varied needs of our client base.
