- The prestigious annual "State of World Jewry" main stage event;
- At least one book talk, which may or may not be a main stage event, featuring 92NY's Senior Director of Jewish Life.
- In support of the foregoing, though a member of 92NY's Talks team and reporting to the Director of 92NY Talks, the Associate Director will meet regularly with the CEO and President of 92NY and senior leadership in Jewish Life, including 92NY's Senior Director of Jewish Life, to ideate about upcoming programs, discuss programs that are in the works and otherwise coordinate.
- Supervise the Jewish Talks staff..
- Responsible for oversight and seamless operation for each event, including determining and securing event security, working with the Legal Department to protect 92NY's intellectual property rights in contracts and releases, securing rights to a speaker's name/image/likeness, and coordinating event publicity across 92NY marketing, communications, digital and production departments.
- Lead and steward partnerships with peer Jewish organizations to develop and present high impact Jewish Talks programming.
- Responsible for ongoing communication to 92NY leadership, funders, and stakeholders, offering timely updates and insights on program development.
- Working closely with the Bronfman team to manage the Jewish Talks budget and contribute to creating new revenue streams.
- Manage events from conception to completion, as required, including troubleshooting any issues that occur before, during or after the event.
- Collaborate with the sponsorship team to steward relationships that support and advance 92NY Talks.
- Liaise with the development department, donors, and funders, to ensure the strategic leveraging of program opportunities aligned with donors interests and priorities.
- Identify digital content from events to drive brand awareness and increase engagement.
- Oversee the timely submission, approval, and payment of vendor invoices.
- BA or MA required in a relevant field
