Scope of Services (Responsibilities as an Independent Consultant)

  • Leverage your expertise to independently consult with clients (via online/phone) to understand their hiring needs and define candidate qualification criteria.
  • Develop and execute your own targeted sourcing strategies using various channels (e.g., professional networks, job boards, social media, direct outreach, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches) to identify potential candidates.
  • Apply your professional judgment to screen resumes and applications, identifying candidates who align with client requirements.
  • Conduct thorough candidate interviews and assessments to evaluate skills, experience, and suitability, presenting curated shortlists of qualified candidates to clients.
  • Maintain professional and timely communication with clients regarding search progress, providing status updates as mutually agreed upon for each engagement.
  • Offer expert guidance and preparation advice to candidates ahead of client interviews.
  • Build and cultivate your professional network and talent pipelines of high-caliber Japanese Bilingual professionals for current and future opportunities.

  • Develop and manage professional relationships with clients, whether sourced independently or introduced through A-STAFFING, serving as a strategic recruiting partner.
Qualifications for Partnership
  • Native-level fluency in Japanese is essential.
  • Mandatory: Proven, extensive track record of success operating as a Recruiter, demonstrating ability to manage the full recruitment lifecycle independently. (Experience as a 1099 contractor or running your own recruitment desk is a plus).
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills suitable for client and candidate consulting.
  • Demonstrated ability to operate autonomously, manage your own workload and priorities effectively in a remote setting.
  • Proficiency with standard business software (e.g., Google Workspace) and experience utilizing Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) or similar recruitment databases.
