Job description

The Mission
We aren't looking for a corporate UX manager who delegates to a team of junior designers, nor are we looking for an agency freelancer who only draws static artwork. We need a true solo powerhouse and Jack-of-All-Trades who can take complete end-to-end visual ownership of Pack.com-from low-fidelity UX wireframes to high-dopamine UI, digital illustration, and production-ready visual assets.
Your mission is to architect the full visual language and user experience of our Gamified Shopping & Mystery Pack Platform. You will sit at the exact intersection of product strategy, visual craft, and Web3/iGaming culture. One day you'll be mapping out frictionless digital-to-physical redemption flows in Figma; the next, you'll be illustrating high-energy mystery box assets, designing unboxing states, and crafting micro-interactions.
This is an individual contributor (IC) role with extreme creative sovereignty. If you take pride in owning the entire design lifecycle from a blank canvas to live production, this is your playground.
Key Responsibilities
  • End-to-End Product Ownership (0-to-1): Own the entire product design pipeline solo. Map out complex user journeys, translate raw product requirements into low-fidelity wireframes, and build pixel-perfect, interactive UI prototypes.
  • Custom Digital Illustration & Asset Creation: Design and render high-quality custom illustrations, item rarity badges, unboxing pack graphics, empty-state visuals, and icon sets that bring high-energy casino/gaming flair to an e-commerce platform.
  • High-Dopamine Gamified UI Design: Create visual interfaces for mystery box openings, case battles, reward multipliers, wallet connections, and physical redemption vaults that balance high-volume conversion with visual excitement.
  • Figma Architecture & Design Systems: Build, maintain, and scale our core UI kit, design tokens, component libraries, and visual guidelines from scratch to ensure speed and consistency as engineering builds.
  • Developer-Ready Handoffs: Work hand-in-hand with our Frontend Engineers (React/Vue). Deliver clean SVG assets, responsive layout specs, and structured design tokens that make implementation seamless.
  • Micro-Interactions & Visual Polish: Define micro-animations, button states, victory sequences, and visual feedback loops that make the platform feel alive and responsive.

Requirements
  • Solo IC Mindset (Jack-of-All-Trades): Proven experience owning the entire design process end-to-end without relying on external agencies or junior teams. You handle research, UX, UI, and visual art yourself.
  • Hybrid Portfolio (UX Logic + Elite Visual Art): A portfolio demonstrating both technical product thinking (wireframes, user flows, friction removal) AND exceptional visual craft (custom digital illustration, game/iGaming UI, typography, and asset design).
  • Figma Mastery: Expert-level fluency in Figma, including advanced auto-layout, variables, component properties, prototyping, and scalable design system maintenance.
  • iGaming / Web3 / Gaming Aesthetics: A deep, authentic pulse on online gaming culture, CS2 skin marketplaces, loot-box mechanics, or crypto-native UI dynamics. You know what makes digital unboxings feel rewarding.
  • Engineering-Centric Handoff: Understanding modern web layout standards (HTML/Tailwind concepts, responsive breakpoints, clean asset export) to support frontend dev teams effortlessly.
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have)
  • Motion & Animation: Experience bringing UI elements to life using After Effects, Rive, or Lottie (e.g., box opening animations, particle effects, winning states).
  • 3D Design Skills: Basic or advanced 3D asset generation (Blender, Cinema4D, Spline) for rendering physical goods or mystery pack containers.
  • Startup Grit: Experience working directly with founders and product managers in fast-moving, low-bureaucracy environments where speed and execution win.

Benefits
Why Join Us?
We offer more than just an art commission; we offer the chance to paint the visual blueprint of a global powerhouse.
  • Absolute Creative Sovereignty: We value raw aesthetic output over bureaucratic red tape. If your visual direction is sharp and moves the needle, we run it.
  • Global Canvas: Your custom illustrations will instantly step onto a global stage, defining the experience for thousands of active web users every single day.
  • A Culture of Momentum: Join a team that moves at lightspeed. You will be constantly creating, testing new visual boundaries, and seeing your art deployed to production in real time.
  • High-Growth Upside: We value "potential over pedigree." For a Digital Illustrator whose visual style defines our product culture, there is a clear runway for long-term partnership and increased structural leverage.
