Information Technology - Software Engineer
Location: Orlando, FL, 32825, United States

About the Role
Join our dynamic IT team as a Software Engineer, where you'll play a key role in supporting and enhancing mission-critical business systems. This position offers a blend of hands-on ticket servicing, development, and direct impact on business operations. You'll enjoy an engaging work environment, structured on-call rotations, and opportunities to deepen your expertise with modern technologies.
Responsibilities
- Receive, prioritize, and resolve incoming tickets from the Autotime system
- Develop and deploy fixes for business-critical application issues
- Support and maintain timeclock backend (Springboot) and frontend (Angular) systems
- Create, troubleshoot, and optimize Python scripts for external integrations (PTO, HR Feed, Payroll, Labor)
- Write and optimize SQL queries and stored procedures to support ticket management
- Manage and monitor automated job schedules with Control-M
- Deploy and maintain applications in Openshift (Kubernetes) environments
- Participate in on-call rotation, including after-hours and weekend support for critical job runs
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for process improvements and new feature implementation
- Ensure successful execution of scheduled jobs (Sunday 6PM EST, Monday 2AM EST) on a rotational basis
Required Skills and Experience
- Proven expertise with Autotime and Service Central ticketing systems
- Proficient in Springboot, Angular, Python, SQL, Openshift, Control-M
- Minimum 15 years of relevant software engineering experience
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
- Effective communication and documentation abilities
- Willingness to participate in after-hours on-call support rotation
