As a remote LCSW, you will be a crucial part of our dynamic team, focusing on providing therapeutic support to individuals undergoing detoxification. In your position as LCSW, you will:

• Evaluate the psychosocial needs of patients by conducting comprehensive bio-psychosocial assessments aimed at identifying barriers to treatment.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that outline therapeutic interventions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational interviewing.
• Implement therapeutic interventions, both individually and in group settings, to support patients in their recovery journey.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop coordinated care plans that enhance treatment adherence and patient satisfaction.
• Document treatment progress inpatients’ medical records according to organizational protocols, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and standards.
• Provide psychoeducation to patients and their families, equipping them with strategies to navigate the complexities of recovery.
• Advocate for patients’ needs, connecting them with community resources that foster self-determination and social support.
• Maintain current knowledge of mental health resources and best practices through continuous professional development and training.

Your primary focus will involve working closely with individuals in a detoxification process, who may present various comorbid conditions affecting their mental health. This group may include adolescents and adults experiencing substance use disorders, trauma, and other psychological challenges. Your expertise will enable these clients to engage in meaningful therapeutic relationships while working towards recovery and improved functioning.

The ideal candidate for this position will possess:

• A Master’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in the state of Texas.
• Demonstrated understanding of social work ethics and commitment to professional standards as per the National Association of Social Workers (NASW) Code of Ethics.
• Strong foundational knowledge of human development stages and cultural competency relevant to clients served in the detox setting.

Preferred qualifications include:

• At least one year of clinical experience in a health or mental health setting, preferably with exposure to the detoxification process.
• Experience providing treatment to a diverse clientele, including different age groups and those with varied cultural backgrounds.
• Competence in employing outpatient treatment methodologies and addressing complex psychosocial issues that arise during recovery.

You will be compensated competitively, with a salary range of $85,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with experience. In addition to your salary, we offer a sign-on bonus to eligible candidates.
