• Conduct comprehensive patient intakes, focusing on diagnostic evaluations to develop tailored treatment plans that address individual goals.
• Provide brief, focused mental health interventions to clients while continuously monitoring their progress and readjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Collaborate with primary care providers to identify and treat mental health and psychosocial issues, ensuring a seamless integration of services.
• Assess patients’ needs and recommend referrals to specialized mental health programs when appropriate.
• Develop and implement relapse prevention plans for patients at risk, assisting them in maintaining stable functioning.
• Document patient progress meticulously in treatment charts, keeping detailed records that inform ongoing care and adjustments.
• Provide psycho-education to patients, equipping them with self-management skills necessary for their treatment journey.
• Engage in consultation with clinic management and fellow staff about strategies for effective behavioral health services and program evaluation.
• Monitor and coordinate care services with the patient’s permission, ensuring comprehensive support that connects them to community resources.
• Adhere to the Code of Ethical Conduct for Clinical Professionals, maintaining high standards of practice and confidentiality.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mountain Springs Wellness & Counseling Services, you will primarily work with a diverse patient population, including individuals facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues. Our clients stem from various backgrounds, requiring culturally sensitive approaches and an understanding of the unique social determinants influencing mental health within our community.

• A Master’s Degree in Clinical Counseling or a related field is required.
• Current active LPC license issued by the state of Texas.
• Robust knowledge of mental health assessment techniques, treatment planning, and psychotherapeutic methods.
• Understanding of behavioral health interventions and experience working within a telehealth framework strongly preferred.
• Mental and physical health adequate to fulfill the demands of this counseling role.

• Experience in working collaboratively with primary care providers and familiarity with integrated care models.
• Bi-lingual proficiency in English and Spanish is highly desired but not mandatory, enriching our ability to serve the community.
• A thorough understanding of community resources related to mental health support and care.

We offer a competitive salary package between USD 87,000 and 105,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
