This position operates in a fully remote setting, allowing flexibility and work-life balance. You will interact with students and families primarily through virtual platforms, providing an accessible means of support. • Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate students' emotional and social needs, ensuring alignment with educational goals.
• Provide individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on important issues such as adjustment difficulties, grief, trauma, and coping mechanisms.
• Collaborate closely with teachers and school administrators to develop and implement supportive interventions tailored to the educational environment.
• Facilitate crisis intervention and support services for students and their families in times of immediate need.
• Coordinate with community organizations and mental health services to enhance continuity of care for students post-discharge or upon further need.
• Educate students and families about available resources, treatment options, and coping strategies to foster emotional resilience.
• Maintain diligent and accurate documentation of all interactions to comply with legal standards and organizational policies.
• Participate in ongoing professional development activities and contribute to team discussions to improve service delivery and patient outcomes.

The primary focus of this role is on school-aged children and adolescents facing various psychosocial challenges, including but not limited to emotional distress, academic difficulties, behavioral issues, and social integration challenges. You will work to create meaningful connections with each student, fostering an inclusive atmosphere that empowers them to express their concerns and aspirations.

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.
• Active state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) required.
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmental psychology, educational systems, and mental health practices applicable to school-aged children.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively engage with students, families, and educational personnel.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail to manage case documentation and administrative tasks efficiently.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience within a healthcare or educational setting is preferred.
• Hands-on experience in crisis intervention and management, with familiarity in navigating school systems for student support.
• Proficiency with telehealth technologies and virtual counseling modalities.
