Couples Learn, Ltd is actively seeking a dedicated and licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team as a full-time clinician. This setup fosters a convenient and comfortable experience for both therapists and clients. Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, you will connect with clients through secure virtual platforms, ensuring continuity of care and comprehensive support.

As a licensed Mental Health Counselor at Couples Learn, Ltd, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments through detailed intake sessions to identify client needs and goals.
• Designing and implementing individualized treatment plans that utilize evidence-based therapeutic practices.
• Leading engaging therapy sessions, adapting interventions throughout the process to achieve therapeutic outcomes.
• Employing behavioral techniques to encourage personal development and facilitate progress toward client goals.
• Documenting session notes and maintaining accurate client records using electronic medical record systems to ensure compliance and continuity of care.
• Participating in regular professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and stay updated on the latest therapeutic methodologies.

Your work will primarily involve supporting individuals and couples facing varied challenges, from anxiety and depression to relationship issues and life transitions. Your expertise will guide clients through their emotional struggles using a combination of therapeutic approaches tailored to their unique situations, aiming to foster resilience and improve overall well-being.

In order to be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid mental health license in Georgia as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or a closely related field.
• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical setting, working effectively with diverse populations and mental health concerns.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills to cultivate positive therapeutic relationships.

While the above qualifications are necessary, we also value the following preferred attributes that would strengthen your application:

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field, further enhancing your capabilities as a therapist.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems to streamline documentation and patient management.
