• Client Intake and Assessment: Conduct thorough intake assessments to understand clients' emotional, psychological, and social conditions. Evaluate treatment needs and create supportive environments for open discussions.
• Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of therapeutic approaches adapted to individual client circumstances. Regularly review and revise treatment strategies in collaboration with clients.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and mindfulness techniques to promote client well-being.
• Client Consultation: Establish trust and rapport with clients through active listening and empathetic communication. Address financial and emotional commitments associated with their mental health care.
• Monitoring Progress: Keep abreast of clients' perceptions of their treatment effectiveness and ensure adherence to treatment regimens. Facilitate constructive feedback loops to enhance therapeutic outcomes.
• Community Engagement: Engage in community outreach initiatives and contribute to mental health awareness programs that elevate the importance of psychological health.

As a mental health counselor within our practice, you will serve a diverse population of clients experiencing varying degrees of mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. Your work will focus on providing support to individuals from different cultural backgrounds, tailoring your approach to meet the unique needs of each client while promoting an inclusive and respectful counseling environment.

• A minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or a related field is required. A Master's degree in counseling or a related stream is preferred.
• Current licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in the state of Massachusetts.
• Proven experience as a mental health counselor, with a solid understanding of various therapeutic modalities.
• Strong verbal communication skills and the ability to engage with clients in a compassionate and effective manner.
• Demonstrated commitment to providing culturally responsive care to patients of all backgrounds.

• Previous experience in outpatient therapy settings, particularly in virtual counseling.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation processes.
• Knowledge of local community resources to facilitate client referrals when necessary.
• Proficiency in additional languages is highly desirable to accommodate our diverse client base.

The salary range for this full-time position is $70,000 to $100,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
