• Conduct thorough intake assessments to evaluate clients' mental health concerns, strengths, and specific needs, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of each client's unique situation.
• Collaborate closely with clients to develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment findings, aligning them with client goals and therapeutic needs.
• Provide high-quality individual, group, and family therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused therapy to address clients' emotions and challenges.
• Monitor and document clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal therapeutic outcomes and maintain effective communication with clients regarding their growth.
• Work collaboratively with a network of healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to coordinate comprehensive care that addresses both mental and physical health needs.
• Advocate for clients' rights and access to appropriate mental health services and community resources, empowering them to navigate available supports confidently.
• Uphold confidentiality standards and adhere to ethical guidelines set forth by state licensing boards and professional organizations, maintaining the highest level of integrity in all client interactions.

You will work primarily with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders, anxiety issues, and relational challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding clients through their mental health journeys, utilizing integrative approaches to support their healing processes and overall mental wellness.

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution is required for this position.
• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT in the state of New York is a prerequisite.
• A proven track record of at least two years of post-licensure experience, with a focus on managing mood disorders and providing effective therapeutic interventions.
• Strong understanding of evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, tailored to address the diverse needs of clients.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical professionals, demonstrating a solid understanding of psychopharmacology in a clinical setting.

• Two years of direct experience in the treatment of mood disorders or specialized therapeutic frameworks is preferred.
• Experience utilizing teletherapy platforms and digital tools to connect with clients in an effective and accessible manner.
• A demonstrated ability to achieve successful outcomes in enhancing clients' mental health and quality of life.

• The salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $105,000 per year, reflective of your experience and caseload.
