• Conduct thorough assessments and intake interviews with clients to determine their mental health status and treatment needs.
• Develop and implement personalized therapy plans addressing various mental health challenges including substance abuse, depression, anxiety, and eating disorders.
• Facilitate regular individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing evidence-based treatment approaches to support clients’ therapeutic goals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in the EHR system.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare providers, including psychiatrists and primary care physicians, to provide holistic support for clients.
• Engage in crisis intervention and de-escalation strategies, ensuring the safety and well-being of clients in distress.

Your work may involve supporting a varied clientele, including individuals with complex mental health disorders, substance use issues, and those navigating life transitions. You will be interacting with clients from diverse cultural backgrounds, necessitating a deep understanding and sensitivity to their unique experiences and needs.

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LCSW in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of four years of clinically relevant experience, demonstrating a strong foundation in mental health treatment.
• Expertise in evidence-based therapeutic modalities and a profound understanding of mental health disorders.
• Experience in delivering culturally competent individual and group therapy.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Strong crisis intervention skills and the ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.

• Background working in community health or clinical settings, with proven success in addressing a spectrum of mental health issues.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care practices and culturally responsive therapy techniques to meet varied client needs.
